President's speech on the occasion of al-Adha

-The President of the Transitional Military Council (LMC) Lt-Gen. Abdul Fattah Alburhan addressed Sunday the Sudanese nation on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.Lt-Gen Alburhan congratulated the people of Sudan on this religious holiday and said this was an opportunity for us this year and that Sudan was overjoyed after the consensus of 4 August.Following is a summary of the text of speech by HE Lt-Gen Abdul Fattah Alburhan, President of the WCL, celebrating this occasion.At first, we congratulate our people in all parts of the homeland by the feast of Eid Al-Adha, God has told us again and the country enjoys security, stability and well-being.
Eid al-Adha is coming this year and our country is overflowing with joy after the consensus that took place on August 4, 2019, and on this great occasion, I congratulate you all inside and outside the country.

In this new reality, we must reaffirm our resolve to come together and prepare for a new phase of work, production and giving to a country that desperately needs the combined efforts of all its inhabitants, in all areas, construction , development and realization of its supreme interests.The challenges we face, as well as the economic situation in Sudan, require the protection of what we agreed on August 4 and the desire to lay the foundations for a civil regime based on citizenship, freedom and justice which is accommodating for all, because our country today has the greatest need for cohesion, cooperation and solidarity to face the challenges and overcome the causes that have weakened our nation; today no place for advocates of sedition, extremism and hate speech.
Tribute to the genuine Sudanese people for their patience in the face of hardships and severe crises, and congratulations to the young men and women of the Protestant Revolution for achieving peace, freedom and justice, especially our valiant soldiers armed forces and rapid support, the police and the general intelligence service in all places where they protect Sudan and ensure its security.
Special greetings to our people all over the country, they are more necessary to support; greetings to the families of the martyrs and the urgent recovery to the wounded.
